It goes without saying that we all want glowing, healthy skin
You can get this it just takes a little bit of work, some time, a good skincare regime that and lots of water! I have spent a lot of time researching the best skincare regime that contains everything, is as simple as possible and has the best quality products that work and are the best value for money also. I really enjoy my daily skincare regime now, in the morning and the evening as I know it works and I feel so amazing knowing I am taking such good care of my precious skin. It is the best form of self love for me and makes me look and feel glowing.
Firstly, I would recommend investing in some face towels which you can use daily. I roll them up into nice, spa-like, neat shapes so I can easily take a new one each day and I always make sure I have a few spare for when I am washing them for the week ahead. The benefits of using these little face towels are plenty, as firstly it is more sustainable as they can be re-used and secondly they exfoliate your face as you use them to take off your make up. Use one towel each day for AM and PM and then put in the wash and you can purchase them for a great price on Amazon.
the best morning skincare regime
Step 1. Cleanse to make sure your face is clean from the night and to set it up properly. Cleansers aid in unclogging pores and exfoliation of the top skin cells. My absolute favourite cleanser is below, along with a more affordable alternative:
Recommendation - Clinique Cleansing Balm Recommendation (lower price point) - CeraVe Cleanser
Step 2. Toner to remove any last traces of dirt, grime and impurities stuck in your pores after you wash your face. When added to your daily skincare routine and used regularly, it can have major positive impact on the appearance and tightness of your pores (hello, aging skin). Some toners I would recommend are below:
Recommendation - The Ordinary Toner
Recommendation - Pixie Glow Tonic
Step 3. Vitamin C which is an important step. It is a science-backed, dermatologist-favorite ingredient that may help slow early skin aging, prevent sun damage, and improve the appearance of wrinkles, dark spots, and acne.
Recommendation - Medik8 C-Tetra
Step 4. Hyaluronic Acid which acts like a sponge, pulling moisture from the atmosphere into your skin. It also helps skin stretch and flex and reduces skin wrinkles and lines.
Recommendation - Vichy Minéral 89 Hyaluronic Acid
Step 5. Moisturise to lock in more moisture and prevent environmental damage to your skin as it acts as a protective barrier.
Recommendation - Estée Lauder Day Wear
Recommendation (lower price point) - Weleda skin food
Step 6. SPF to protect your skin from sun damage, UV rays and ageing. It is important no matter what time of the year or country and you should even wear it when indoors.
Recommendation - Heliocare
the best EVening skincare regime
Step 1. Double Cleanse to take off the first layer of make up, dirt and grime. The important part is to do this twice. Use the same towel and the same recommendations as above.
Step 2. Toner to remove any excess dirt and make sure your skin is totally clean
Step 3. Night Cream which soothes and calms the skin as you sleep, reducing any redness and irritation overnight. By supporting the skin's natural regenerative processes while you're sleeping, these creams help to give you a more consistent complexion when you wake up. Night cream also keeps the skin to stay hydrated.
Recommendation - Sarah Chapman Overnight Mask
Recommendation - Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask
