I want to share 10 of the habits I do daily to make me feel good and I hope you can enjoy these and test some or all of them out.
Sleep and wake up at a similar time. I prefer to sleep early and wake up early and I got out of the routine of waking up to an alarm a long time ago and my body adjusted. Create a nice atmosphere before bed with lighting and have an earlier dinner.
Create a list of things you will do the day before and include as much as you like on here - even the small things like washing your hair, exercising and then any bigger things as it feels great when you tick or delete the list as you go through your day.
Prioritise your skincare with a good AM and PM routine with cleanser, toner, vitamins, hyaluronic acid, SPF as basics. Add to this by taking supplements like marine collagen with vitamin c and hyaluronic acid.
Eat wholefoods high in protein, healthy fats and complex carbs and lots of veg. Stay light on food and drink plenty of water which works wonders for your skin. Try avoid sugar, processed food and over / under eating. Add in supplements like apple cider vinegar to help digestion and bloating.
Get some form of exercise even if it's just walking or a pilates workout at home on YouTube. Try and add some strength training in, possibly HIIT or another form of cardio but don't do too much - just find your sweet spot and less is definitely more.
Listen to music depending on your mood and where you are at in the day - it is the best form of therapy!
Wear clothes, make up (if you wear) and hair that you feel amazing in. Outfits don't need to be fancy - spend money on your hair skin and make up and the rest falls into place much easier.
Stay close to people that uplift you, make you feel good and trust your gut and walk away from people not making you feel good, wanted or uplifted.
Journal and do some breathing exercises in the morning to release good chemicals in your brain and reduce cortisol - also wait a little bit of time before having your coffee
Relax, enjoy yourself and know you are so loved!
